Avocado

Avocado is a fruit belonging to the Lauraceae family, with thick skin and large seed. It has the ability to lower blood cholesterol, because it contains monounsaturated fats.

It helps the blood in the formation of hemoglobin, because of its high content of salt and folic acid.
Hass avocado is one of the most cultivated varieties in our country. It has rough skin and a dark green color, almost black when mature.

In Ecuador the variety of avocado produced for export is Hass.

The avocado is packed in corrugated cartons with corners and divisions to protect it properly during transportation.

Usos:

Avocado can be consumed of diverse forms that adapt to a routine diet. It can be consumed with salad, vegetables or even alone.
